(the inspiration)

NYC Vin Moto member and NYCVMS supporter JT Stewart bought a 1953 BSA c11 a couple years ago and then ended up buying another for parts to finish it. Both are basket cases but almost enough parts are there to build a new running bike between them

He has graciously offered up this BSA project to be sold tomorrow at the MotorGrrl swap meet. 100% of proceeds from the sale of this bike will go to the NYCVMS HURRICANE RELIEF fund which is currently receiving donations and coordinating the purchase and distribution of supplies and volunteers to the Rockaways this weekend. Said supplies and volunteers will be transported to the Rockaways in the Back Seat Conceptions bus, which is on it’s way from Phili. Thanks guys!

Please stop by the MotorGrrl swap meet tomorrow for a beer, some bike parts you didn’t know you needed, and stick around to make a donation, or even perhaps take this big-hearted project home with you. Bike will go to the highest bid tossed in the hat tomorrow!

now, i give you…THE BSA!

1953 BSA C10 ridgid – Has most of the parts to make a complete bike after they have been gone through and restored.

Has: Motor, trans, wheels, fenders, seat, fuel tank (the kind that has the speedo in the tank), Oil tank (albeit with a rust hole in it.)

Needs:  Probably some motor parts, electrical parts, head light etc, and a Generator.

1951 BSA C11 Plunger – Just the frame, which is broken and needs to be welded back together, fenders, tank, handlebars, wheels, forks etc.
